Leonor Ferreira

Leonor Ferreira started practicing sports at the age of 4, going through: dance, gymnastics, volleyball, surfing and has never stopped.

She entered the world of Fitness as a teacher in 2001 when she finished the Fitness course at CEF. That same year, Leonor finished her degree in Basic Education in the Physical Education variant. However Leonor never got to teach, continuing in the Fitness area, where she took several courses from Bodybuilding Monitor and Cardio-Fitness, Body Pump, among others. In 2003 Leonor started the Pilates Instructor course in Portugal, but life took her to London where she finished this course at Body Control Pilates´s school. Since then, she has been a teacher at various locations between London and her own space in the Algarve. Meanwhile in London graduated in Pilates for Pregnant and Postpartum, Pilates for Children and in machine work (Reformer, Cadillac and Chair).

Continuing with her education, in 2015 she took a course in Osteopathy with a specialization in Sports in cooperation between the Instituto de Técnicas de Saúde de Lisboa and ESTESL.
In 2019 Leonor took an Intensive Training in Anatomy in Motion course, with Gary Ward from Anatomy in Motion.

Nowadays, Leonor´s private or group classes have a mixture of Pilates with all the other aspects that allow the client to rediscover his body and mind.
